Dear Veterans & Community Members,
We regretfully announce that Mason County Central Middle School will NOT host our annual Veterans Day Program on November 11, 2013. Due to unforeseen circumstances this year, we will not be able to maintain the quality program this year as we have over the past 15 years. The students of MCC Middle School have had the privilege of honoring some of the most amazing individuals throughout our community, our veterans. The students and staff of MCC Middle School are also proud of the fact that our veterans have answered the call/challenge by giving back to our students and their community by visiting classrooms on this special day, allowing students to video capture veterans stories and for the numerous contributions and artifacts that our veterans have donated to our Mason County Central Middle Veterans Room. It has been an honor to host such a grand event and build lifelong relationships.
It is our hope to continue this valuable program in the near future and that you support the future works of Mason County Central Middle School as we honor our American Hero's with future Veterans Day Programs.
We encourage all veterans throughout our community to attend the Allied Council's Veterans Day Celebration at the Scottville Optimist on November 11th (Next Monday) at 11:00 am with a luncheon to follow and the Ludington Area School Assembly on November 8th at the Petersen Auditorium. Thank you veterans and community for your commitment to the students of Mason County Central and for allowing us over the years to honor you.
Sincerely,
Phil Quinlan
